Currently, there are no refunds on pedals so I encourage you to ask as many questions as possible and I will answer them, to the best of my ability, to make sure you are getting what you want.
Pedals can be powered by a 9V battery or standard 9V DC negative-tip adapter.
Stomp Under Foot, Inc. is not responsible for packages that are stolen if they are left at your home and no one is there to accept it. If you feel that you need to have the package hand delivered please ask for a "signature required" delivery before purchasing your pedal. Extra fees may apply.
Some countries charge duties and taxes on items coming in from the United Sates.
These fees are the responsibility of the buyer and not Stomp Under Foot.
Stomp Under Foot pedals have a Limited Lifetime Warranty with original proof of purchase from Stomp Under Foot or any one of the authorized dealers listed on the DEALERS page.
The warranty covers any issue with the electronics of the pedal.
The warranty is void for one or all of the following:
If any of the above has occurred there will be a standard $40 bench fee which includes domestic shipping back to you.
I am not able to cover foot-switch(s), jacks, potentiometers and knobs due to abuse. If any of the wearable items do become faulty please contact me.
The majority of pedals sent in for repair are fully working pedals and, in most instances, the issues have been either a bad or incorrect power supply or faulty cables.
Before sending a pedal back please do the following:
Test the pedal out of a chain or off a pedal-board by going guitar to pedal to amp.
Check the power supply by switching between a battery and DC power.
Try different cables including patch cables.
If the pedal is noisy make sure your power supply is isolated.
Make sure all cables are plugged in properly.
If you don’t have any power at all make sure you did not plug it into the wrong power supply (only a 9v, negative tip, DC adapter should be used). There is a safety diode in the pedal to prevent too much voltage from damaging the pedal. If this is the case then there will be a fee for repairing the pedal.
In the event that no issue is found and can't be fixed the fee will still be rendered for time spent on the pedal.
International repairs are responsible for the bench fee and return shipping.
